Producer

Domaine Michèle et Patrice Rion

France

Family-run since 1990, Domaine Michèle et Patrice Rion is based in Prémeaux-Prissey in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits. Founded by Patrice and Michèle Rion, the estate farms its vineyards biodynamically with organic certification, avoiding synthetic insecticides and pesticides; the same standards are applied to fruit purchased for the family’s négociant arm, launched in 2000. Patrice has long led the winemaking, with Michèle closely involved and son Maxime now part of the domaine. The range spans Bourgogne to premier cru sites in Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée. The house style emphasizes careful harvest timing, freshness and purity, with several recent vintages vinified without sulfites.
