Domaine de la Ferté

France

Domaine de la Ferté is a family-run estate in Givry, Côte Chalonnaise, devoted entirely to Pinot Noir, including Givry and Givry Premier Cru parcels such as La Servoisine. The domaine is owned and operated by the Devillard family, with Amaury and Aurore Devillard named among those leading it. Its vineyards include mature vines on south-facing clay and chalky-clay soils, and the estate is noted as HVE certified in one source. Farming is described as reasoned, with limited treatment products and careful hand harvesting. In the cellar, the team emphasizes strict grape sorting, waiting for full maturity, long macerations, and ageing mainly in oak barrels before bottling for freshness of fruit and floral aromas. The domaine also draws on the long vineyard history of the Abbey of La Ferté in Givry.
