De Chanceny is a family-run Loire Valley estate based in the southern Saumur area, with vineyards around Montreuil-Bellay and Brossay and cellars in Saumur and Vouvray. Making Crémant de Loire and Vouvray sparkling wines since 1957, the house combines traditional-method know-how with a modern, creative approach. Grapes are hand-harvested at maturity, gently pressed and carefully selected for blending, then undergo secondary fermentation in bottle and at least 12 months’ aging on lees in temperature-stable tuffeau galleries. The wines draw on regional varieties including Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Grolleau, emphasizing freshness, finesse and aromatic nuance. De Chanceny also produces a specific no-added-sulfites cuvée, highlighting its interest in purity of aromas and meticulous cellar work.
