Château Patache d'Aux

France

Château Patache d’Aux is a historic estate in Bordeaux’s northern Médoc, with vineyards in Bégadan and Saint-Christoly du Médoc. Owned by Antoine Moueix Propriétés, part of the Moueix family and Advini group, it farms varied sites including a limestone plateau with clay and alluvial gravel hillsides. The estate is HVE3 certified and has invested in a gravity-flow cellar, completed in 2018. Production is overseen by Antoine Moueix, with winemaking advice from Stéphane Derenoncourt and Giacomo Piubello. Its wines are dense and structured, marked by fresh-fruit aromas, supple tannins and long, silky finishes.
