Château Les Trois Croix

France

Château Les Trois Croix is a family-owned estate in Fronsac on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, bought by Patrick Léon in 1995 and now managed by his son Bertrand Léon. Its vineyards sit on limestone and clay soils at one of the appellation’s higher points, planted mainly to Merlot with Cabernet Franc, including a parcel dating back to the 1940s. The winemaking is overseen by Bertrand Léon with the involvement of Patrick Léon and consultant Michel Rolland. Recent investment modernized the barrel cellar and bottling area in 2020. No sustainability certification is noted, and farming is described as conventional.
