Brigaldara

Italy

Brigaldara is a historic, family-run estate in Veneto's Valpolicella, owned by the Cesari family since 1929 and now led by Stefano Cesari. With a total property of about 130 hectares, it farms over 70 hectares of vines across distinct zones in Valpolicella Classica, Valpantena, and Valpolicella Orientale. The philosophy centers on sustainable, manual viticulture with a ban on synthetic chemicals, a focus on biodiversity, and an integrated rural ecosystem. This commitment is certified by Equalitas and recognized with the Gambero Rosso Sustainable Winery award (2021). Winemaking is guided by Professor Ferrarini and executed by a young team of his former students, aiming for wines that express the region's varied terroirs with freshness and drinkability.
