Bouchard Aîné & Fils is a historic Beaune négociant and winemaker founded by Michel Bouchard in 1731, with roots in wine brokerage from 1750 and more than two centuries of Burgundian savoir-faire. Now owned by the Boisset Family since 1993, the house is a major Burgundy producer with broad international distribution. It works with around thirty partner growers in Burgundy and Beaujolais, selecting grapes and wines directly from producers, while vinification, ageing and bottling are carried out in Beaune under the house winemaker. The estate emphasizes grape selection, restricted yields, environmentally friendly growing methods, and respect for terroir and varietal character, aiming for elegant, structured wines with ageing potential.
