Producer

Arianna Occhipinti

Italy

Arianna Occhipinti is the sole owner and winemaker of her family estate in Vittoria, Sicily, where she focuses on indigenous grapes, especially Frappato and Nero d’Avola. Working with certified organic and biodynamic vineyards, she emphasizes biodiversity, polyculture, cover crops, field grafting, and manual farming without chemical interventions. In the cellar, her approach is low-intervention, with spontaneous fermentations from native yeasts and a strong commitment to expressing place. The wines are shaped by Vittoria’s red sands and limestone soils, and by a growing “one vineyard, one wine” philosophy explored through specific contrade. Her work reflects a deep personal connection to the territory and a broader commitment to local agricultural culture and craftsmanship.
