Alcesti

Italy

Founded in 2003 in Marsala, Alcesti is a family-owned winery run by Gianfranco Palladino with his sister, wife, mother and father. The Paladino–Spanò family has cultivated vineyards for several generations, with estates between Marsala, Mazara del Vallo and Salemi expressing the diversity and identity of Sicilian terroir. Organic viticulture has been practiced since 2016, alongside sustainable farming, certified organic lines and vegan-friendly wines. The family emphasizes careful vineyard management, quality-focused thinning and respect for the environment, while modern cellar facilities support separate white and red vinification and both stainless-steel and oak maturation. Alcesti’s wines aim to communicate the character and roots of their territory.
