L'Armangia

Italy

L’Armangia is a family-run winery in Canelli, Piedmont, founded in 1988 with family winemaking roots dating to 1850. Ignazio Giovine, owner, winemaker and enologist, works alongside Giuliana Casalini, a sommelier who co-manages the estate and oversees tastings. The family cultivates vineyards in Canelli, Moasca and San Marzano Oliveto, following respectful, organic-focused practices without chemical fertilizers and with a drastic reduction in weeding and pesticide treatments. Varied soils and terroirs support a diverse range of wines, including Moscato d’Asti Canelli DOCG, Barbera d’Asti and Nizza DOCG. The estate handles its own grape growing, vinification, bottling and direct sales, with a focus on identity, experimentation, responsibility and wines that faithfully express their territories.
