France

Domaine de la Voûte des Crozes is a family-owned estate in Côte de Brouilly, Beaujolais, run solely by owner-winemaker Nicole Chanrion since 1988. The vineyards are rooted in volcanic schist, diorite, and porphyry soils and are farmed organically with Terra Vitis and Haute Valeur Environnemental certification, alongside a low-intervention lutte raisonnée approach. Hand harvesting and minimal sulfur reflect the domaine’s careful, artisanal focus. In the cellar, Chanrion works with whole-cluster carbonic maceration, natural yeasts, stainless-steel cuves, and aging in large oak foudres for at least nine months before bottling unfiltered. The result is a traditional, hands-on expression of Côte de Brouilly centered on Gamay.
