Phelan Farm is Rajat Parr’s privately run project in Cambria, California, on a historic ranch established in 1851. A sommelier-turned-winemaker, Parr leases and farms the site himself, working with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines originally planted by Greg Phelan in 2007, alongside later grafted varieties and a small orchard. The farm is managed with regenerative, uncertified organic and biodynamic practices, including no-till farming, cover crops, sheep grazing, lightweight equipment, and homemade plant-based treatments, while avoiding sulfur and copper. Parr is the sole winemaker, and the project is noted for its highly limited, boutique production.
