Suavia is a family-run estate in Soave Classico, Veneto, founded in 1982 by Giovanni and Rosetta Tessari and now led by their daughters Meri, Valentina, and Alessandra. Rooted in Fittà, where the family has farmed since the 1800s, Suavia focuses exclusively on white wines from the native Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave varieties. The vineyards lie on volcanic hillside soils in sites including Fittà, Castellaro, and Tremenalto, and are farmed organically under certified sustainable practices, with traditional Veronese pergola training. Winemaking is overseen by Valentina Tessari, with an emphasis on expressing the distinctive mineral, volcanic character of Soave. The estate also pursues research in agronomy, geology, and the preservation of Trebbiano di Soave.
