ROAR Wines is a small, family-owned and operated producer in California’s Santa Lucia Highlands, run by third-generation farmers Gary and Rosella Franscioni. The family farms estate vineyards including Rosella’s, Garys’, Soberanes, and Sierra Mar, with additional fruit sourced from Pisoni and Clos Pepe. Influenced by Monterey Bay’s fog and strong winds, these sites produce expressive, balanced wines with vibrant acidity and aging potential. The range focuses on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, Viognier, and Grenache, crafted in close collaboration with winemaker Gary Pisoni. ROAR emphasizes meticulous farming, site expression, and intentionally limited production, releasing wines three times annually. The vineyards are farmed sustainably, with the Santa Lucia Highlands sites identified as SIP Certified.
