Paarl Heights is a Western Cape label owned by Boutinot South Africa, producing a single-vineyard Chenin Blanc from very old, naturally low-yielding bush vines. The unirrigated vines grow in sandy loam over granite bedrock and are dry-farmed without irrigation. Winemaking is low-intervention, using free-run juice, stainless-steel fermentation, extended lees contact and up to 25% barrel aging. The resulting style aims to balance weight and freshness while expressing the character of classic Cape soils. Production is limited, with an emphasis on natural expression and value.
