Marisa Cuomo is a family-owned winery in Furore on the Amalfi Coast in Campania, founded in 1980 by Marisa Cuomo and Andrea Ferraioli, who still oversee the estate and winemaking. The vineyards lie on steep, south-facing coastal terraces on dolomitic-calcareous rock, often trained in pergola, with all work carried out by hand in these heroic sites. The focus is on indigenous Campanian grapes including Biancolella, Falanghina, Aglianico, and Piedirosso, alongside the late-harvest Fiorduva. The style combines traditional local viticulture with modern cellar work, including aging in barriques in a cellar carved into the rock. No formal sustainability certifications are mentioned.
