La Pelle

United States

Founded in 2016, La Pelle is a private, appointment-only California winery run by winemaker Maayan Koschitzky and viticulturists Miguel Luna and Pete Richmond. Working with Silverado Farming Company, the partners select properties, farm the vineyards and make the wines in an estate-like model, focusing on terroir-driven, single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc from older, naturally balanced vines. Organic, sustainable and dry-farming practices are used across the vineyards, alongside a 1% for the Community donation program. In the cellar, the team aims to preserve each site’s freshness, bright acidity, complexity and depth, with Koschitzky as sole winemaker.
