Jean-Marc Brocard

France

Jean-Marc Brocard is a family-owned Chablis estate in Burgundy, founded in 1974 by Jean-Marc Brocard and now led by his son Julien, a pioneer of biodynamics in Chablis. Sustainability sits at the heart of the domaine: it holds Ecocert organic certification, farms certified organic and biodynamic vineyards, and runs biodiversity and vitiforestry projects, including the Les 7 Lieux biodynamic range. Winemaking is directed by Julien Brocard and Odile Van de Moere with a plot-by-plot approach and gravity-fed handling to limit intervention. The estate’s philosophy centers on preservation, respect for the vine, and expressing freshness, minerality, and terroir as clearly as possible.
