Ghost Pines is a California producer named for the Ghost Pines Vineyard in eastern Napa County. Its “Wines Beyond the Lines” philosophy rejects traditional appellation boundaries, sourcing grapes for quality and flavor from Napa, Sonoma, Monterey, San Joaquin and Lake counties. The resulting wines emphasize richness, smoothness and balance, with offerings including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Red Blend and Zinfandel. Winemaking is led by Aaron Piotter, a Sonoma County native and UC Davis Viticulture and Enology graduate whose previous experience includes Ferrari-Carano, Franciscan Estates, Viansa and ZD Wines. The brand’s multi-region approach reflects a progressive, discovery-oriented style of California winemaking.
