Domaine Raoul Gautherin & Fils

France

Domaine Raoul Gautherin & Fils is a multi-generational family estate in Chablis, Burgundy, with roots said to date to 1585 and the current domaine founded in the late 1950s. It is owned and run by Alain Gautherin and his son Adrien, who serves as winemaker, continuing a long father-to-son family lineage. The estate farms clay-limestone vineyards across Petit Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites. Viticulture is reasoned and sustainable, with careful vineyard management and no formal organic or biodynamic certification noted. In the cellar, the approach is low-intervention, centered on Chardonnay vinified in stainless steel, with minimal oak and extended lees aging.
