Château Pédesclaux

France

Château Pédesclaux is a Grand Cru Classé en 1855 estate in Pauillac, Bordeaux, owned by the Lorenzetti family since 2009. Under Jacky, Françoise and Manon Lorenzetti, the property has been extensively restructured, with new plots added, environmentally focused farming adopted, and a modern gravity-fed winery designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Organic farming has been central since 2012, with full organic certification achieved in 2022 and some parcels managed biodynamically. On Pauillac soils of gravel, clay, and limestone, the estate emphasizes plot-by-plot vinification and precise winemaking to express terroir. Winemaking is led by Audrey Ricordi with consulting oenologist Eric Boissenot.
