Château Moncets is a historic Bordeaux estate founded in 1770 and repurchased in 2012 by a French-British family-owned company. Its clay-rich vineyards, including clay-limestone parcels, are farmed with organic and climate-adapted methods, naturally grown grass, and sustainable practices; the estate’s organic status is described inconsistently in the available notes. Merlot and Cabernet Franc are hand-harvested and processed in a gravity-flow cellar with careful sorting. The wines mature for 16 months in French oak, using a combination of new and one-year-old barrels.
