Arzuaga is a family-owned Ribera del Duero estate founded in the early 1990s by Florentino Arzuaga and now run by the second generation, with Ignacio Arzuaga leading winemaking and Amaya Arzuaga overseeing the hotel and restaurant side. Based around the La Planta estate in Quintanilla de Onésimo, its vineyards sit at high altitude on poor clay-chalk soils with limestone subsoils, and the estate emphasizes low yields for concentration and quality. Since 2018, new vineyard plantings have been farmed organically, reflecting a broader environmental focus also seen in the estate’s Michelin Green Star restaurant. Alongside wine, Arzuaga has developed a notable hospitality and wine tourism offering in the heart of Ribera del Duero.
