Three Elms

Australia

Three Elms is a family-owned winery in Frankland River, Western Australia, run by formally trained husband-and-wife winemakers Laura and Tim Penniment, who grew up in the region. Their wines aim to express Frankland River terroir through traditional styles and modern techniques, informed by international experience. The flagship Mt Frankland Shiraz comes from Tim’s Yarrabee Vineyard, where sustainable practices include winery-waste composting, cover crops, sheep grazing, soil-moisture monitoring and satellite imagery. These measures have increased organic carbon and reduced water use, reflecting the couple’s focus on quality and respect for the land.
