Tenuta Anfosso

Italy

Tenuta Anfosso is a sixth-generation family estate in Liguria’s Rossese di Dolceacqua DOC, run by Alessandro Anfosso and his wife Marisa Perrotti. Its vineyards cover roughly five hectares of steep, dry-stone terraces between the sea and mountains, where mechanization is impossible. Farming, harvesting, and vineyard work are carried out entirely by hand using organic practices, without formal certification noted. With viticultural roots dating to 1888, the estate preserves historic cru and old vines, including original plants in the Poggio Pini vineyard. Alessandro leads the winemaking, with Marisa and the wider family involved, producing traditional wines from Rossese and other local varieties, including the Poggio Pini, Luvaira, and Fulavin cru wines.
