Mas Bertran

Spain

Mas Bertran is a family-owned winery in Sant Martí Sarroca, in Penedès, founded in 2005 and run by cousins. It began humbly in the family garage before moving to its current winery in 2011. The estate focuses exclusively on native Penedès grapes such as Xarel·lo, Macabeu, Parellada and Sumoll, producing still wines and sparkling wines with a clear regional identity. Its work is rooted in revitalising local varieties and preserving Penedès heritage, while combining tradition, innovation and respect for nature. Notes also highlight organic farming since 2017, manual harvests, long bottle ageing for its sparkling wines, and membership of Corpinnat, underlining its commitment to quality and sustainability.
