Keenan Winery

United States

Keenan is a family-owned Napa Valley estate on Spring Mountain in California, founded by Robert Keenan in 1974 and now led by Michael Keenan, with the next generation also involved. Set high above St. Helena in the Mayacamas, the winery works historic land first developed by the Conradi family, whose 1904 winery building remains in use. Keenan farms sustainably and is Napa Green certified, with a solar-powered estate and practices including cover crops, compost, replanting, and careful site matching of rootstocks. The focus is on mountain-grown estate fruit and Bordeaux varieties, along with Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Syrah, and proprietary blends. Across the range, the wines are described as expressing Spring Mountain’s rocky soils, elevation, structure, concentration, and distinctive mountain character.
