Testarossa

United States

Founded by Rob and Diana Jensen in a Silicon Valley garage in 1993, Testarossa is a family-owned winery based at Los Gatos’s historic Novitiate Winery. Diana runs the winery full-time, while Bill Brosseau has directed winemaking since 2000. The estate focuses on California Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, sourcing from long-term partnerships with leading vineyards across the Central Coast, including sustainable and organically farmed sites. Brosseau’s approach emphasizes designing wines in the vineyard, parcel-by-parcel micro-vinification, minimal outside ingredients, and allowing terroir to lead. Traditional techniques are combined with modern technology, with particular attention to cool, marine-influenced sites and site-specific vineyard expressions.
