Ponte del Diavolo is a collaborative Friuli-Venezia Giulia label created by Liberty Wines with Ca’ Morlin winemaker Andrea Morlin, consultant Alana McGettigan and Blank Canvas founder Matt Thomson. The documented 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is sourced entirely from Grave del Friuli vineyards, where vines grow at over 1,000 metres on calcium-rich marl, sandstone and alluvial gravel. Francesco Visentin is listed as winemaker for the release. The partnership brings together several experienced wine professionals, while no production scale or sustainability practices are disclosed.
