Mas Martinet

Spain

Mas Martinet is a family-run estate in Priorat, founded by Josep Lluís Pérez and now led by his daughter Sara Pérez. Rooted in the region’s steep llicorella slopes and old Garnacha and Carignan vines, the project is closely tied to the modern revival of Priorat. The vineyards are farmed organically with an agroecological approach focused on biodiversity, legumes, wild plants, compost and herbal infusions, with work also guided by the lunar calendar. In the cellar, the philosophy is minimal intervention, using native yeasts, little oak, and in some wines the estate’s Verdú-Escuder method for additive-free winemaking. The aim is deep, mineral wines that faithfully express the territory.
