Fongaro is a family-owned producer in Roncà, in the Monti Lessini area of Veneto, founded in 1975 by Guerrino Fongaro. The estate focuses exclusively on traditional-method sparkling wines made from the native Durella grape, expressing a distinctive local variety and territory. Organic farming has been practiced since 1985 and is certified, with vineyards partly located within the Lessinia Regional Natural Park. The winemaking approach is artisanal and patient, with long lees aging, manual remuage, and a hands-on philosophy from vineyard to bottle. Guerrino Fongaro and Tanita are closely associated with the winery’s identity and work.
