Domaine Laporte

France

Domaine Laporte is a historic family estate in Saint-Satur in Sancerre, founded in 1850 by the Laporte family and run since 1986 by the Bourgeois family, today with Arnaud and Cédric Bourgeois and Jean-Marie Bourgeois. Certified organic since 2013 by Ecocert, the domaine emphasizes sustainable, vegan-friendly farming, respect for biodiversity, low yields, and minimal cellar intervention. Its vineyards are rooted largely in Saint-Satur’s flint soils, alongside caillottes and Kimmeridgian marls, including the emblematic Domaine du Rochoy, a distinctive former Roman quarry site. The wines focus on terroir and purity: Sauvignon Blancs with freshness, saline minerality and tension, and Pinot Noir reds made with gentle extraction for finesse and elegance.
