Domaine du Trapadis

France

Domaine du Trapadis is a family estate in Rasteau in the Southern Rhône, rooted in the Charavin family since 1850 and now run by fourth-generation owner-winemaker Helen Durand. Certified organic by Ecocert and biodynamic by Demeter, the vineyards are farmed without herbicides, chemical fertilizers or synthetic products, using low doses of sulfur and copper, compost, tillage and cover crops. Yields are carefully controlled in the vineyard, and the domaine emphasizes artisanal work from pruning to bottling, with manual harvests and natural-yeast fermentations. Its parcel-based approach across Rasteau, Cairanne and Roaix aims to express the character and soul of each terroir.
