Domaine Didier Dagueneau

France

Family-owned Domaine Didier Dagueneau is based in Saint-Andelain in Pouilly-Fumé, Loire Valley. Following Didier Dagueneau’s death in 2008, the estate has remained in family hands, now run by his son Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau with his sister Charlotte, continuing the founder’s direction. The domaine farms old vines, including parcels on flint-rich Saint-Andelain slopes and clay-rich sites, with biodynamic and organic practices. Work in the vineyard is highly hands-on, with manual harvesting, occasional horse plowing, massal selections, and attention to low-vigor rootstocks. The wines are made from extremely low yields and natural fermentations, including sans soufre methods, in a labor-intensive style that reflects precision and site expression.
