Producer

Domaine de l'Horizon

France

Domaine de l’Horizon is an estate in Calce, Pyrénées-Orientales, founded by Thomas Teibert with the Christ family and now carried forward by Emmanuelle Maltas with Joachim Christ. The vineyards include old vines and are farmed organically and biodynamically, with organic certification since 2007 and Biodyvin certification. Work in the vineyard is manual and careful, with a focus on soil vitality, biodiversity, and respect for natural cycles. In the cellar, the domaine follows a minimal-intervention approach with hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentations, indigenous yeasts, and élevage in wood, concrete, and stainless steel to preserve terroir expression.
