Château La Bourrée

France

Château La Bourrée is a small, family-owned estate in Bordeaux’s Côtes de Castillon, founded and run by Jean-François Meynard and Christelle Gauthier. The estate practices reasoned agriculture, aiming to work as close to organic as possible, with controlled yields and strict selection in the vineyard. Wines are made in a traditional style, including barrel ageing. Former champion rower Jean-François Meynard brings a disciplined, athletic mindset to the estate’s viticulture.
