Cantine Colli di Catone

Italy

Cantine Colli di Catone is a family-run estate in Lazio, owned and operated by Antonio Pulcini. Based at a 2,000-year-old Roman villa with historic catacomb cellars, it produces very small-batch wines from indigenous varieties including Malvasia Puntinata and Grechetto. Yields are kept exceptionally low—around 20 hl/ha, well below the legal maximum—reflecting a focused, quality-driven approach. The wines are sold exclusively at the estate’s cellar door, without importers or critics. No organic, biodynamic, or other sustainability certifications are mentioned.
