Belasco de Baquedano is a family-owned winery in Mendoza’s Luján de Cuyo, focused on old-vine Malbec from Alto Agrelo. Founded by Juan Ignacio Belasco and now managed by his son Mikel, it represents the third generation of the Spanish Familia Belasco. The estate covers approximately 90 hectares, with around 65 hectares planted, mainly to Malbec. Its drip-irrigated vineyards are harvested by hand, while the cellar follows low-intervention, vegan-friendly practices. Chief winemaker Belén Muñoz leads the winemaking team, supported by Lizy Bordin and consultants Michel Rolland and Bertrand Bourdil.
