Vini Gamba

Italy

Vini Gamba is a family-run winery in Marano di Valpolicella, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, founded in 2003 by brothers Giovanni, Giuseppe, and Martino Aldrighetti and now joined by the next generation. The estate owns 15 hectares of terraced vineyards, including the hillside of Gnirega at around 300 metres, and works exclusively with estate-grown grapes. Traditional varieties such as Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, Oseleta, and Croatina are cultivated mainly using the pergola system and without irrigation. The higher-altitude vineyards and calcareous-clayey soils contribute to wines noted for acidity, silky harmony, and floral character. The winery also dries selected grapes for Amarone and Recioto and ages wines in oak barrels.
