Viña Bujanda

Spain

Viña Bujanda is a family-run Rioja estate owned by siblings Carlos and Pilar Martínez-Bujanda, with roots reaching back to their great-grandfather Joaquín. Its vineyards span Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, including sites near Logroño and Oyón, with clay-calcareous and clay-ferrous soils. The estate emphasizes EU-certified organic viticulture, sustainable practices, vegan-friendly production and old-vine work. Winemaking is led by Lauren Rosillo, whose approach focuses on traditional, value-oriented reds and accessible entry-level wines. Viña Bujanda operates its own facilities within the wider Familia Martínez Bujanda group and follows a woman-led approach.
