Thibault Liger-Belair Successeurs is a family-owned Burgundy domaine based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, led by Thibault Liger-Belair as sole owner and chief winemaker. The estate farms Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in Burgundy as well as parcels in Beaujolais, and also includes a modest négociant arm created in 2004 to work with purchased grapes. Farming has been organic since 2005 with Ecocert certification, alongside biodynamic practices such as horse-drawn ploughing, herbal infusions, and biological controls, with no herbicides. The winery emphasizes low-impact methods through solar and geothermal energy, natural insulation, and light machinery. Sharecropping partnerships with three growers form part of the family’s long-term approach.
