Producer

JAX Vineyards

United States

Founded in 1996 by siblings Trent and Kimberly Jackson, JAX Vineyards is a family-owned producer based on their father’s former retirement vineyard in Calistoga, Napa Valley. The estate focuses on small-lot, single-vineyard wines, with hand-harvesting and earth-friendly, sustainable farming practices. Its volcanic alluvial soils and pronounced diurnal temperature shifts contribute to fruit complexity and acidity. Consulting winemaker Kirk Venge crafts balanced wines that emphasize varietal character and a sense of place, while partner Dan Parrott oversees day-to-day operations and brings a Burgundian perspective. Alongside the estate-focused Jax range, the Y3 line offers more accessible, true-to-variety wines sourced from Napa and Sonoma AVAs.
