Producer

Chiara Condello

Italy

Founded in 2015, Chiara Condello is an independent, family-owned estate in Predappio, Emilia-Romagna, separate from the family Condé winery. Chiara farms organically and biodynamically, with manual vineyard work, cover crops, organic fertilisation and a strong focus on biodiversity. Her Sangiovese grows on distinctive Spungone soils—calcareous sandstone formed from ancient marine deposits—at hillside elevations. The wines are made with an artisanal, non-standardised approach: spontaneous fermentation, gentle handling, long macerations and ageing in older Slavonian oak, followed by bottle maturation. Chiara’s aim is to express the authentic character of Predappio through pure, unembellished Sangiovese.
