Château Croix d’Allons is a small, fourth-generation family estate in Bandol, run by Philippe and Florence Damiano. Its organically certified vineyards lie on ancient limestone, dolomite, gypsum and related Triassic soils, with Mourvèdre making up around 70% of the plantings. Some vines date to 1922, while the family’s connection to the property began in 1924. Grapes are hand-harvested, fermented spontaneously with wild yeasts in stainless steel, and aged for 18–20 months in large oak foudres. The domaine deliberately produces a single Bandol AOP cuvée per vintage and colour, reflecting a focused, artisanal approach. The property also includes 120 olive trees undergoing organic conversion, with hand-picked olives cold-pressed into extra virgin olive oil.
