Castello Tricerchi

Italy

Castello Tricerchi is a family-owned estate on the northern slopes of Montalcino, headquartered in a castle completed by the Tricerchi family in 1441 and now occupied by their direct descendants, the Squarcia family. Thirteen hectares are planted to Sangiovese Grosso for Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino. The family remains closely involved in the work: Emanuele planted the first Brunello vines in 1995, Sergio brings decades of vineyard experience, Gigi oversees production from vineyard to bottle, and Tommaso represents the newer generation. Their wines are made through hands-on family management of harvest, vinification and aging.
