Bevan Cellars is a boutique California producer founded in 2004–05, now owned by Russell and Heidi Bevan with Middleton Partners. Led by winemaker Russell Bevan, the winery makes highly allocated, small-lot wines from carefully selected vineyard sites, with a focus on Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Bordeaux-style blends and the signature Ontogeny red blend, alongside selected Sonoma wines. Its approach emphasizes vineyard expression, low-intervention techniques and a sustainable philosophy in the vineyard and cellar, without stated formal certifications. The wines are known for depth, concentration and aging potential, while balancing boldness with grace. The winery is refocusing on Napa Valley single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style wines, including exploration of new vineyard sites.
