Terralsole is a family-owned estate on Montalcino’s southeast slope in Tuscany, run by veteran winemaker Mario Bollag and his wife, musician Athena Tergis Bollag. The winery produces Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, limited single-vineyard Crus from Vigna Pian Bossolino and Vigna Fonte Lattaia, SuperTuscans, Grappa Riserva and olive oil. Its organic, sustainable viticulture uses natural fertilizers, rotating cover crops and bees to support biodiversity. The estate focuses on expressing Sangiovese Grosso and local microclimates, with French oak tonneaux and large-format barrels used for slow maturation. Terralsole also offers library wines, cellar tours, tastings, private dining, cooking classes and wellness programs, combining wine production with an intimate Tuscan-living experience.
