Denis Pommier

France

Isabelle and Denis Pommier are passionate, family-run winegrowers established in Poinchy, in the heart of Chablis, since 1990. Their estate specializes in Chablis and Chablis Premier Cru whites, alongside Bourgogne reds. The vineyard has been farmed organically, with Ecocert certification since the 2014 vintage, following a gradual reduction of inputs and the abandonment of pesticides and glyphosate. Their approach emphasizes environmental care, parcel-by-parcel vinification and respectful élevage to express the harmony and character of each terroir. Whites are fermented and aged in thermoregulated stainless-steel tanks on fine lees, with selected cuvées receiving oak treatment; Bourgogne reds are fully destemmed and matured in oak. Rooted in the Kimmeridgian soils of Chablis, the wines seek purity, minerality and increasing aromatic complexity.
