Colombera & Garella

Italy

Colombera & Garella is a family-run estate in Masserano, Alto Piemonte, focused on the historic Lessona and Bramaterra zones, with vineyards in Lessona, Masserano, and Brusnengo. Owned and operated by the Colombera family alongside Cristiano Garella, the winery works only with native varieties including Nebbiolo, Croatina, and Vespolina. Its approach centers on sustainable, environmentally respectful farming, avoiding chemical herbicides, and a non-interventionist cellar style. Notes indicate organic or organic-style viticulture, with native-yeast fermentations in concrete, low sulphur, and no fining or filtration. The wines are made with an emphasis on territorial character, natural maturation, and light-handed winemaking.
