Morisfarms is a family-owned estate in Tuscany’s Maremma, managed by cousins Ranieri Moris and Giulio Parentini. The family has worked the region for generations across two estates: historic Poggetti near Massa Marittima and Poggio La Mozza in Scansano. Their vineyards occupy contrasting clay, limestone, and sandy alluvial soils, with proximity to the Tyrrhenian Sea contributing salinity and minerality. Sangiovese is the dominant grape, producing Morellino di Scansano DOCG alongside IGT Toscana and Costa Toscana wines, including the flagship Avvoltore, created by Adolfo Parentini. Farming follows a sustainable, close-to-nature, low-intervention approach, without cited organic or biodynamic certification. Winemaking is led by Attilio Pagli and Emiliano Falsini.
